Cenote Ixchel is an independent and non-profit grade school initiative inspired by Waldorf education, located in Tulum, Mexico. For the 2018/19 school year we will be serving nursery, kindergarten, and early primary levels.
With our desire to continue building upon the Waldorf foundation’s principles, our school arose from a small group of devoted parent’s desire for their children to continue on this nurturing path.
Our ongoing work gives us the opportunity to cooperatively create a place where the school community works together to offer children a hands-on, holistic and integrative educational opportunity; commonly referred to as the “whole child approach” serving the “head, hands and heart” of each individual child in a developmentally-appropriate model.
Unify Tulum is an eco-hub of environmentalists, biologists, and activists.
We unite people who are dedicated to the Preservation of the Environment and Indigenous Culture. We are committed to actualizing this paradigm shift and demonstrating what is possible through ordinary human efforts, in service to Mother Nature and the infinite human potential. Our focus is on water treatment, waste issues and mobility.
As humans, we are inexorably linked to the earth and each other, all a part of this magnificent symbiotic organism called life.
